Rooms Division Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Reservation and Security members to ensure smooth operations are completed to the Hotel’s operational standards.
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and to the highest satisfaction levels.
- Manage room revenue and profit through maximizing occupancy and yield, and to ensure set budgets and goals are achieved.
- Understand marketing and selling principles and can work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service within the department.
- Achieve targets on time and control costs.
- Participate in skills/staff development training programs for Front line staff.
- Establish and maintain relationships with accommodation suppliers, brokers, agents, and government departments
- Ensure equipment and other assets are cared for and safely stored
- Act as Acting GM in the GM absence.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor degree or Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of working experience as Rooms Division Manager position in a 5-star Hotel or similar.
- Possess a full and comprehensive knowledge of the features, reporting and configuration of the hotel System.
- Excellent spoken and written in English preferred.
- Possess good working attitude and good communication skills.
- Possess strong leadership and team building skills.
